Paul "Buggs" Johnson from Montgomery, Texas was taken to heaven by our lord and savior on Friday September the 14th 2012 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Buggs was born to E.N. & Anna Johnson on December the 1st 1940, who both preceded him in death. Also two sisters preceded him in death, Juanell "Johnson" Kelly & Joyce "Johnson" Michael Kelly. Buggs is survived by his wife of 41 years ,Glenda "Hall" Johnson; one daughter, Jamie "Johnson" Chene; four grandchildren, Christian Chene, Sydney Chene, Makenzie Chene and Jacob Cade all from Montgomery; two brothers, John Johnson & wife Edith of Livingston, Jimmy Johnson & wife Nita of Montgomery; one sister, JoAnna "Johnson" Castleberry & husband Don of Montgomery; also a special sister in law, Brenda Hall who stood by Glenda helping to care for "Buggs" last month of his life. Also numerous nieces and nephews and friends who loved him very much and have so many fond memories of his love and practical jokes on them. He was Uncle Buggs to all.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening September 18, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Honea Baptist Church located at 16430 FM 2854 in Montgomery, Texas 936-588-1260.Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Honea Baptist Church. Officiated by, Bro. Vince Yearwood. Pallbearers will be Dexter Kelly, Brad Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Monty Hall, Russell Michaels, Barry Castleberry, Loy Hall and Brad Parker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Wayne Mathis & Jesse Belden. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to wife Glenda Johnson.
