Paula (Ainsworth) Hasara passed away on December 24, 2017 at the age of 68 at her home in Conroe , Texas , after an arduous battle with cancer. Paula was born on December 30, 1948 in Conroe , to Joe and Nan Ainsworth. She attended Conroe High School and graduated with the Class of 1967. On January 30, 1970 she married Cleon John (Jack) Hasara, also of Conroe , and they had three children together - Lauren, Justin, and Chelsea.

Over the course of Paula's life, she worked as a realtor, a cosmetologist, was a loan officer for Texas Bank Savings, then became an administrative assistant and closing agent for developers, Jim Fuller and Bennett Ebner in Conroe . Following the birth of her first grandchild, she chose to move to the family farm in Farrar , Texas , where she held a position with the Limestone County Sheriff's Department, and later became Director for the Economic Development Corporation of Teague.

Paula was interested in a variety of disciplines including Texas history, ancient cultures, genealogy, astronomy, needlecrafts, reading, wildlife, birding, and traveling. She enjoyed living on the farm, where her favorite outdoor activities were burning brush and monitoring Bald Eagle nests. She loved spending time with each of her eleven grandchildren, and was always ready to set out on the next big adventure. In order to be closer to medical care, she returned to her home in Conroe , where she has resided for the last four years.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ainsworth and Nan (Wells) Ainsworth Vincent, and brother, Tim Ainsworth. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack Hasara of Conroe; daughter, Lauren (Hasara) Mason and husband, David Mason of Farrar; son, Justin Hasara and wife, Sherry (Moulas) Hasara of Montgomery; daughter, Chelsea (Hasara) Kimbrough and husband, Ricky Kimbrough of Montgomery; also grandchilden, Sterling, Sage, Struan, Stori, and Sable Mason; Ashlyn, Graham, Brinsley, and Waylon Hasara; Hudsen and Camden Kimbrough.

The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Interment will immediately follow in Garden Park Cemetery, also in Conroe.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial contribution to one of the following: Limestone Cancer Support Group - P.O. Box 107, Mexia, TX 76667 (assisting local residents with gas, lodging, and meal expenses while undergoing cancer treatments) or The Debbe Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund - 700 LCR 441, Mexia, TX 76667 (a scholarship assisting homeschooled students with college expenses).
