Perry Wayne Tallant, formally of Huffman, Texas passed away at his home in Spring, Texas, Saturday, August 19, 2017, following a brave and strong battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Perry and Mary Tallant, former residents of Huffman. Perry Wayne was born in Nashville, Arkansas November 21, 1944. When he was two years old, the family moved to Ashdown, Arkansas where he grew up. After graduating from Ashdown High School, he moved to Houston, Texas and began his life-long career in the construction industry. Over a period of forty plus years, he climbed the ladder from laborer to equipment operator to superintendent. At the time of his illness he was an estimator for Reddico Construction of Conroe, Texas, where he had worked for 30 years. He also served in the National Guards and was an avid bowler. Perry Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anna Jean (Talllant) Stafford. He is survived by his wife Barabara Tallant of Spring, Texas; sister, Juanita (Tallant) Deen of Huffman, Texas; son, Mike Tallant and partner Melinda of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Misty Harper and husband John of Spring, Texas; son, Wesley McGaugh and wife Shannon of Huffman, Texas; grandchildren: Brittany and Adam, Shawn, Gage, Tiffani, Destiny, Taylor, Jordyn, Jeremy and Lynsey, Lilli, Andrew and Jordan; great grandchildren: Easton, Emma, Lucus,Anthony, Bradyn, Constance and Tatum; numerous nieces, nephews, his extended Reddico family and loyal friends. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas 77303. Family time is from 4-6pm and time for friends is 6-9pm. Funeral service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 12:30pm with Pastor Phil Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will include: Scott Pitman, Ken Walker, John Roddy, Donnie O'Quinn, Wesley McGaugh, Bruce Fanestiel, Mark Harris, Javier Ramirez and Shane Johnson.
