Pete Falco, born in Caldwell, TX on October 5, 1932 to Pete and Lucy Falco, passed away at the age of 80 on December 17, 2012. Pete was a Texas resident all of his life. He was a wonderful storyteller in the good, old fashioned sense of the word. His Italian hands would help weave the story for his listeners. Pete loved his church, St. Joseph in New Waverly, and found peace within its walls each Sunday. His home altar displayed pictures of the family he loved alongside the statues of saints he revered. Every single day began with morning prayers thanking God for his bounty and asking Him to protect those he loved.

Pete is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, Pete Timothy and his wife Kimberly; daughter, Wendy Watson; stepdaughters Kimberly Johnson, Sherri Treadway, Terri Winnon, and Susan Perez; grandchildren Haley Rae Watson and Nikolas Blake Watson; brother Frank Falco and wife Nancy; brother Tommy Falco and wife Christine; and many friends and neighbors.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, December 20, from 6-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with Rosary beginning at 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 21, at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly, with burial following services at Elmina Cemetery in New Waverly.
