A Mass of Christian Burial for Philip James Snow of Willis, Texas will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Waverly with Father Daokim Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow in Shepherd Hill Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being cited at 7:00 P.M. in The Chapel.

Philip was born on January 10, 1926 in Willis, Texas to Tony and Stella (Gizara) Snow. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home in Willis, Texas at the age of 90.

As an Army veteran of World War II, Philip served in Belgium, France and Germany. After receiving an honorable discharge, he moved to Houston where he worked for Armco Steel for over 31 years. After retiring in 1978 he moved his family back to Willis. He was a dearly loved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.

Philip was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jerrie; parents,Tony and Stella Snow; brothers and sister, Florian (Buck) August Snow, Nick J. Snow, Bernard J. Snow, Tory Roy Snow, Sam Snow and Eleanora Goldman. Philip is survived by his loving family: Daughters and sons-in-law, Gail Bryant and Jerry Lynn, Phyllis Bryant and Ricky, Janice Ballew and Robert; Sons, James Snow and Richard Snow and fiancé, Rachele Kessler; Sisters, Christine Holik, Irene Mandrell and Marie Riley; Grandchildren, Tammy (Shane), Christy, Scotty (Chrissy), Troy (Whitney), Chad (Amanda), Brian, Matthew, Colby, Chloe', Caleb, Peyton, Winona Kay and Presley; Great Grandchildren, Corbin, Joshua, Kyli, Asher, Levi, Mason, Maddox, Ella, Bailee, Travis and Morgan; numerous other loving relatives and caring friends survive. Pallbearers: Colin Bryant, Troy Bryant, Scotty Bryant, Chad Ballew,Brian Ballew,Colby Snow, Caleb Snow and Matthew.
