Phillip Bruce Garrison passed away unexpectedly on Friday Morning, October 28, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 3, 1941. He was a man of many talents, strong opinions and a world traveler, who cared deeply for family and treasured friends. Phil served our country in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam era, in the US Sub-Service aboard different boats and wherever needed. Afterwards, his work as a consultant took him and Bess to many assignments all over the US, Canada and abroad. He was never happier than when debating political issues with friends, at a Texas Hold'em table or on a luxury cruise.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Bessie Martin Garrison; Son, Kenneth Caldwell and wife Carla of Manvel, Texas; one granddaughter, Keena and husband Jason of Georgia; grandsons, Daniel, Alex, Brian, Jake, Jason and Jaryl all of the Manvel area; three great granddaughters and one great grandson; also surviving are extended family, mother in-law, Bessie Martin, George and Wanda, Doug and Dana, James and Maureen, Halbert and Kathy and their families. "When you look into water, you see your face. When you look into your heart, you see who you are". At Phil's request there will not be a memorial serice.
