Phyllis Yeary, 85 of Conroe passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born December 6, 1932 in Camden, Arkansas.

Phyllis retired from being a school teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Conroe where she also taught Sunday school classes. Her beloved activities were teaching, playing golf and traveling. Phyllis was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and the Musical Sounders of April Sound. In 1950 she was Miss Memphis, Tennessee.

She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Don Yeary, children, John McNamara and wife, Julia, Juli Cole, Jeff McNamara, Jerrald McNamara and wife, Sharon, brother, John Mashaw, grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Jennifer, Christopher and Stacey, great-grandchildren, Hailey, Joseph and Maddison.

Larry Mashaw, her brother, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Conroe at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 13 th . Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery.
