Ray was born to parents, Myrtle and Isaac Beck on July 21, 1921 leaving this life and his wife of 68 years, Virginia, to begin his new life with the Lord that will last forever and beyond at the age of 95.

Ray was the CEO of James Bute Company and was recognized with many national honors for his leadership and expertise in the paint industry. His quick wit and charismatic story telling made him a joy to be with; remembered always and never to be forgotten.

He served his country aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Northland above the Arctic Circle for 18 months.

"Ray, you would be pleased to know how much you are loved and deeply missed by your family and so many friends. I know the Lord is happy to have you home with him. I'll see you again my precious husband when he says it's time. You will always be in my heart and life. I love you dearly. Lovingly, Virginia"

Preceded in death by his grandson; Brett William Beck, Ray is survived by his wife; Virginia, son; Wayne Beck and wife Cathy, grandsons; Ray Wesley Beck and wife Callie, granddaughter; Katherine Gina Wood and husband Jason, great grandchildren; Braedon Beck, and Nora Beck.

Funeral service for Ray Maurice Beck will be held at the First Baptist Church of Conroe on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:00pm with a one hour visitation prior to service. Interment will follow service at Garden Park Cemetery.
