Rex Potts, age 71, of Willis, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2015, surrounded by his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.

He was born on June 13, 1944, in Gary, Indiana, and graduated from Liberal High School in Liberal, Kansas, in 1964. Soon after graduation, Rex joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country around the world, including Vietnam. Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping, bluegrass music, and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Juanita, daughter Erin Neal and husband Mark, son Cody and wife Krystal, stepson Tony Todd and family, grandsons Caleb Neal and Hudson Potts, parents Martha and Ivan Potts of Liberal, Kansas, sister Linda Potts also of Liberal, brother Ivan Potts of Woodward, Oklahoma, and lifetime friend Rita Cress of Willis, Texas.

At the request of the deceased, no visitation or services will be held. The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice and McNutt funeral home for their compassion and assistance during this time.
