Rogerio "Roy" Trevino

Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

Rogerio "Roy" Trevino was born on July 20, 1953 in Aransas Pass, Texas. Son to migrant workers, Natalia Torres and Domingo Trevino, Roy learned to be a dedicated and reliable worker, as well as a devoted husband. He also was a supportive father and father-in-law.

A graduate of Abilene High School, class of 1972, Roy went on to attend Cisco College and, later, Anne Arundel Community College. He met the love of his life, Celia Cota; and they married in January at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Roy and his bride later moved from Abilene to Arlington as he embarked on his career with McKesson Pharmaceutical Company as a computer operator. Over the span of his 30 plus career with McKesson, Roy and his family lived throughout the United States before settling in Conroe, Texas. Roy eventually transitioned into working for Walgreens, where he had recently retired.

Among the things that Roy enjoyed were listening to the Beatles, playing baseball with his McKesson co-workers, watching the Simpsons, but most of all, being an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys. Roy had a Dallas Cowboy jersey, t-shirt, sweatshirt and sweater along with numerous caps for every day of the week! Win or lose and to the end, Roy was a loyal Cowboy fan.

Roy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Celia Cota Trevino and three sons, Marco (wife Eva), Michael and Matthew, all of Conroe, Tx. He is also survived by his brother, Domingo Trevino (wife Tana) of Austin, sister Beatrice Reed (late husband Ronnie) of Arlington, and brother Ruben Trevino (wife Lisa) of Abilene, Texas. In addition to his surviving siblings are uncles, aunts and cousins, mostly from Rockport, Texas as well as 8 nieces and 5 nephews. His extended family included several great nieces, great nephews, and three great, great nephews, all residents of Texas.

We will miss our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and number one fan!

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at Conroe Funeral Directors from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
