Rosa Florence (Snooky) Mynar, 74 of Texarkana, Arkansas joined her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 1, 2018 in Pittsburg, TX. She was born on October 15, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Florence Chance and Carl H. Collmorgen. She was the 3rd of 7 children. Snooky became a believer at an early age and currently was a member of West Conroe Baptist Church involved in the In Touch ministry. She was a homemaker in her years in Houston and The Woodlands. She was a native Houstonian until moving to The Gardens in May 2013 near her brother, Jerry Collmorgen and family. She enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo and watching Hallmark TV channel.

Snooky has been reunited in Heaven with her parents, Carl and Florence Chance Collmorgen; a brother, John P. Collmorgen; her grandson, Brian R. Holt, II; and her brother-in-law, Bobby Mize. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Holt and Thomas Goodlet of Tomball, TX and Carolyn LaPole and husband, Stanley of Tomball, TX; her sons, Raymond J. Mynar, Jr. and wife, Pam of Houston, TX and Michael Mynar and wife, Leah of Redding, CA; her step-daughters, Terry, Karen and Susan Tarver and husband, Austin of Pittsburg, TX; her sisters, Marjorie Freeman and husband, Kenneth of Montgomery, TX and Judy Mize of Sellersburg, IN; her brothers, Jerry Collmorgen and wife, Carolyn of Texarkana, AR, Julius Collmorgen and wife, Carolyn of Hockley, TX and David L. Collmorgen and wife, Carol of Tomball, TX; as well as her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation with family is scheduled for Friday, January 5th from 5-7 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home 20850 Eva St., Montgomery, TX, 77356. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 6th at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Reverend Merle Blado officiating. Graveside services will be immediately following at 1:30 PM at the City Cemetery in Hempstead, TX.
