Rosalie Walcott, 72, passed away June 14, 2017 peacefully in her home. Rosalie was born October 13, 1944 in Shiner, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie (Hanzelka) Vincik and two brothers Johnnie Vincik and Dennis George Vincik.

After graduating from St. Ludmilla's Catholic School, Rosalie moved to Houston where she met her very loving husband, Rex Walcott. They made their home in Conroe Texas and had two sons, Scott Walcott and Shannon Walcott. This past January 28th Rex and Rosalie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Coushatta, one of their favorite places.

In addition to being a full time wife and mother, Rosalie worked for several different schools in the Conroe ISD. She loved cooking for, working with, and helping students of all ages. After 28 years of service she retired to spend more time with her family.

Rosalie was a very positive, fun loving person, she was always willing to help withwhatever task was at hand. She enjoyed trips to Coushatta with family, playing Bingo with close friends, and visiting her hometown of Shiner. In Shiner, she was able to visit with lots of family and attend the church picnics where she could play bingo and listen to polka music.

Rosalie will be deeply missed by her husband, Rex Walcott; sons, Scott and Shannon; sisters Irene (Jerome) Pustka, Martha (Tinky) Maeker, Angie (George) Mayer, Liz (John) Ladshaw; brother Pat (Colette) Vincik, Dennis, dec. (Linda) Vincik, along with many, many nieces and nephews, godchildren, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr., The Woodlands TX 77382.
