Sadie Catherine Dodds Krueger entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on April 17, 2014 at the age of 80. She was born in San Antonio on May 22, 1933 to John Clarence and Delia J. Lynch Dodds. After her "stay-at-home-mom" career, Sadie was the Founding League Secretary for the Oakridge Bowling Center. She also rose through the ranks of a real estate brokerage firm to become their Vice President of Operations. Upon retiring, Sadie left Houston to move back to her hometown of San Antonio where she was a very active participant at St. Brigid Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto R. Krueger and two brothers and four sisters William J. Dodds, James Dodds, Margaret Reed, Elizabeth Potchernick, Elvira Clark, and Mildred D. Lueders. She is survived by her sister Josephine P. Kempen; her cherished sons; Eric P. Krueger and wife Laura, Scott A. Krueger; beloved grandchild Nathaniel Krueger; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and dear friends.


Visitation will be held at 6:00 pm at Mission Park North followed by the rosary at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The funeral mass will be at St. Brigid Catholic Church in San Antonio at 11:30 am, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 followed by interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
