age 72, left this life on May 10, 2012 with her loving husband of almost 56 years by her side. She was born on June 5, 1939 in Nugent, TX and lived in various communities throughout her childhood. Janell eventually moved to Putnam, TX where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry. She loved to sing and was often requested to perform with her twin sister at funerals, weddings, and other events. She excelled in her studies and was a valued member of her high school basketball team. Janell worked as a bookkeeper for several years, but her true profession was graciously serving her family with joy.

Janell was preceded in death by her parents, Ruel and Fern Reynolds, and her brother Roger Reynolds. Janell is survived by her husband, Jerry Cochran; daughters, Joy Burwell and husband Paul of Dayton, Jill Holley-Smith and husband Rob of Spring, and Jan Kooi and husband Michael of New Caney; grandchildren, Amy and Stephen Wallace, Trixi Carr, Lauren and Timothy Kerley, Misty, Joshua, Ariel, and Olivia Holley, and Brooke Holland; great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Grace, and Jonathan Wallace, Brianna and Jasmine Carr, Elise, Alexander, Chloe, Emily, Caleb, and Sarah Kerley, Olivia Holley, and Camden Wyeth; brother, Roddy Reynolds; sisters, Willa Reynolds, Janice Bennie, and Meta Isenhower; aunts, Jo Ann Lowe and Jessie Reynolds; and numerous friends.

A visitation was held from 7 pm to 9 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services. The funeral service is at 11:00 am today, May 12, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church, 1115 North Houston St, Conroe, TX 77301 with a graveside service immediately following at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Nursery Rd, Conroe, TX 77303. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Burwell, Rob Smith, Ron Holley, Michael Kooi, Roddy Reynolds, Joshua Holley, and Michael Bennie, and serving as honorary pallbearers will be James and Steve Reynolds.
