Severo Medina Carranza went to be with his Heavenly Father, on Wednesday afternoon, February 6, 2013. He was born in Jalpan De Serra, Queretaro on November 2, 1932. He lived a full life of 80 years. He emigrated from Mexico to the US and began working as an immigrant farmer. From 1960 to 1973 he managed ranches with his family in California. Ranch life was the love of his life. He later settled in new Waverly, TX and worked at Louisiana Pacific. He later began his Concrete Business and after 26 years in business retired. He was known for never meeting a stranger and always doing a great job. He will be dearly missed but his memory will live on through the hearts and lives of his dear family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Silviano Carranza and grandson, Esteban Rafael Rodriguez. He is survived by Lionella Landaverde, his only sibling; ex-wife, Celia Carranza of whom he was married to for 45 years; (12) twelve children, Arturo and Esther Carranza, Matilda and Tim Clark, Rosario Lara, Del Nichaus, Rosalinda Vela, Irma and Hector Meza, Alicisa and Malaquias Cardenas, Roman and Tonya Carranza, Cenaiyda Carranza, Mardelaina and Ernesto Rodriguez and Prisma Carranza and family. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary service will be held in Cashner Colonial Chapel on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. You are invited to leave written condolences to the family at www.cashnerconroe.com
