Memorial Services for Shelly Lee Bryan of Conroe, Texas will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Ray Hyden officiating. Our mother, Nana, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend passed away with peace and grace on December 24, 2017 at the age of 57. Her loving family was at her side.

Shelly was a hard-working, intelligent, caring and a very thoughtful person. She was very close to her family and friends and had a lot of people who cared about her. She was selfless and always put others ahead of her. Shelly never wanted people to go out of their way for her, yet she did it all the time for others.

One of Shelly's best traits was that she always lived her life to the fullest and loved to laugh and smile. She understood the more important things in life; like the value of friendship and how to be happy. Shelly has left reminders of herself everywhere; her love of Starbucks, sweet hand-drawn pictures in random places, the beach, her love of horses, dogs and fishing. Shelly was proud that Abigail was a "crow" just like her, the love of shiny objects, especially jewelry and purses.

The most important thing to Shelly was her faith and her daughter Roxie. We all know Shelly was a strong woman. Even through her toughest times and darkest hours, she was determined to hang on to see the birth of each of her grandbabies.

Shelly worked for many years at Conroe Funeral Directors where she was an invaluable employee to Jesse and Sandra Powell.

Her love for all of us and all of you, is what is going to pull us all through this. All of the many people, whose lives have been touched by her, should take comfort in knowing that right now, she is in the gates of heaven . Shelly was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed with all of our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Blaydes. Shelly leaves behind to cherish her memories: her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Roxie and Jacob Ross; grandchildren, Abigail and Benjamin Ross; mother, Claudia Blaydes; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Rick Hayes and Joan and Mark Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Gail Blaydes; nieces, Amanda Reed and husband, Ivan, Lauren Schulze and husband, Russell, and Jessica Allen; nephews, Chris Hayes and wife, Heather, Phalen Blaydes, Justin Blaydes; great nieces and nephews, Harper and Rogan Reed, Maysen and Paisley Hayes and Maverick Schulze; best friends Stephanie Powell, and Tina Qvist Nesgaard and other dear relatives and friends also survive.
