Shirin George Hood, 79, of The Woodlands, Texas for over 37 years, passed away on August 23rd. Shirin was born on November 18, 1936 in Turlock, California. On January 7, 1971 she married Charles C. Hood, Jr., in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shirin was accomplished in many fields including acting, singing and business. Her love was acting especially drama at the Crighton Theatre in Conroe, Texas. She also loved to travel. She treasured her family and friends and spending time with them. More than anything she loved spending time with her husband, sons, step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirin deeply loved the babies. Shirin is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck), two sons, Mark and Chuckie, two stepdaughters, Robin and Kimberley, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Julia Raborn of Las Vegas, NV and Diana George of Maui, Hawaii. A celebration of life service will be held at the Living World Lutheran Church on Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands on September 3, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Please join us.
