Shirley Jean Lambert was born Dec. 16, 1939, in Houston, Texas and passed away on March 4, 2014, in Cut n Shoot, Texas. A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 12:30 P.M. in Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Nora Brady; husband, Bill Lambert; and brother, Bill Brady. Shirley is survived by her sisters, Linda Ford, Phillis Swindoll and Barbara White; her best friend, Kathy Blackburn and husband Jim; her daughters, LaVonne Baker and Michelle Lambert; grandchildren, David Gibson, Marcy Pope, Cody Holmes, Johnathan Wilson; and four great grandchildren. Shirley will be remembered for her love of people, her generosity and her great enjoyment in dancing. Shirley spent 35+ years in the valve industry and was loved by her co-workers and customers. Please consider, in lieu of flowers, supporting, in memory of Shirley, who supported veterans. Fisher House states "Because a family's love is good medicine" and Shirley believed strongly in this too. Fisher House will send donations to the Houston location.
