Born August 4, 1933 in Kankakee, Illinois, Skip passed away August 9, 2015 in Montgomery, Texas with his loving family by his side. Skip is survived by brother and sister-in-law David and Rita Lambert and sister Marcia Lambert, daughter Vickie Lambert, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Christopher Tritico, son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Donna Lambert, grandchildren Maria Tritico, Melissa Tritico, Christopher Tritico II, Kelsey Lambert, and Mallory Lambert. Skip was preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores Lambert, brother Gerald Lambert, and sister Claris Lambert. Skip served in the USAF from 1952 to 1956, was initially stationed in Denison, Texas, and served honorably in Korea. After marrying and beginning his family in Illinois, Skip returned to Texas for a career at NASA, Ambox, and later Weatherford DMC. A hard-working, self-made man, Skip built, owned, and operated successful storage and industrial warehouse businesses. Despite a 1982 paralyzing auto accident, considerable physical limitations, and pain, Skip lived his life with independence and great courage. Skip loved flying, hunting, skiing, and especially boating at his Lake Conroe home but never gave up on his desire to travel the country in his motorhome.
