Stephanie D. Miller

Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

Stephanie passed away September 26, 2012 in Montgomery, TX with her Husband and Son by her side.

Stephanie was born May 21, 1949 in Fayetteville, NC. Along with being a loving wife and mother, she was also very active, talented, independent, and a caregiver at heart and in deed. Her interests included family, gardening, cooking, traveling, reading, horses, and ceramics.

She leaves behind faithful husband James Miller, devoted son Phillip Fowler, loving sisters Claire VanHooser and Billie Jo King, loving brother C. Steve Duryea and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She also leaves behind her loyal friend of 50 years, Connie Snyder Fugate. Special thanks are given to her friend/caregiver, Lorraine "Ella" Hatchett.

She, her smile, laughter, and hugs will be sorely missed by all.

Stephanie was preceded in death by parents Steve and Eunice Duryea and sister Michele Strickland, all of which will be happily greeting and welcoming her with open arms in Heaven to, once again, be reunited. Her horse, Daisy May, will also be attending.

A "Celebration Of Life" get-together will be on October 6, 2012 at Claire VanHooser's house in Magnolia, TX at noon.
