Stephen Tripp Wilson Jr. passed away on June 1, 2016 at his home in Willis, Texas surrounded by those he chose to witness his passing from this world into the better one.

Stephen was born May 14, 1953 in Houston, Texas at Hermann Hospital the first son of Shirley Ellen Wilemon Wilson and Stephen Tripp Wilson, Sr.

He grew up during the baby-boomer years experiencing the era of Howdy Doody, the Mouseketeers, the Beatles and watching the first man walk on the moon. Some of his fondest times were with the life-long friends he made while attending Willis High School. He was a natural entrepreneur owning and running businesses in Houston, Austin and Dallas, Texas. He loved spending time with friends and family experiencing the best that this world had to offer. He was a great cook and host. He loved his animals and the wonderful home he made for himself in Willis.

Because of Stephen's capacity to love greatly, those of us who knew him well will find it hard to live in this world without him. Stephen is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Ellen and Paul Waltman of San Antonio, Texas; and his brother and sister-in-law, Langham Kirk and Gina Sue Wilson of San Marcos, Texas; his nieces, Sara and Emily Wilson of San Marcos, Texas; and his aunt and uncle, Stephanie Jane and Robin Harrison of Houston, Texas. Stephen also leaves behind many cousins as well as his precious dogs Scout and Sadie, and many devoted friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conroe, Texas. We welcome all who wish to attend and help us to thank Stephen for all that he brought into our lives.
