Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Brannon, 82, of Conroe, Texas will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ray Hyden officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery. Mr. Brannon was born on January 10, 1933 in Darlington, Florida to Willie and Ressie Brannon. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home. Thomas proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a very talented builder in Conroe for many years. Thomas was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who touched many lives, and will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Brannon and his sister, Willie Faye Follett. Thomas is survived by his loving family: wife of 60 years, Edna Brannon; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Rachel Brannon; daughter, Donna Brannon Blain; sister, Luneta Brannon; grandchildren, Sean Brannon, D.E. Tims, Angela Gunnels, Joseph Brannon, Danielle Brannon, Randi Long, Roxye Blain and Melissa Aldridge; great grandchildren, Britney Tims, Derrik Tims, Jordan Brannon, Kayla Gunnels, Kaitlyn, Lauryna and Samuel Morgan, Juliet Brannon and Katherine Brannon.
