Funeral services for Thomas S. Williams, Jr. 87, of Conroe, Texas will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Preacher John Helbig officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be held at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Williams was born on January 11, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away peacefully on January 18, 2014 in Conroe. Tommy attended Texas A & M where he was a member of the Army Corps of Cadets and later he proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He married the love of his life, Geneva in Woodsboro, TX on February 11, 1949 and they were happily married for over 64 years. He and Geneva were devoted longtime members of Longmire Road Church of Christ in Conroe. At the time of his retirement, Tommy was an oil field, drilling and Workover Consultant in the Petro-Chemical Industry.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas S. Williams, Sr and Hazel Fern Langley Williams and his sister, Lois McCann. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 64 years, Geneva L. Williams; son, Michael Alan Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Constance Ileen and Gary Lee Eicher; son and daughter-in-law, Alvin Sidney and Peggy Williams; sister, Barbara Ann Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Addie Bell and Bill Anderson; grandchildren, Jaime Aumer, Chris Eicher, Melissa Williams, Monica Williams, Michael Williams, Jr., Amanda Burns, Dawn Williams and Bryan Williams; cousin, Sidney Williams III. Many other nieces, nephews, dear great grandchildren and friends also survive.
