Timothy William Rogers, 60, passed away January 26th from complications of diabetes. He was born in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, April 1st. Tim was an Eagle Scout, an intrepid lover of the outdoors, sports fan, poet, and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned an LLD from the University of Houston. Although he lived in many parts of the country, moving around with his family as a child, eventually settling in Conroe before moving to Austin, he considered Texas his home. Tim loved spending time with his large extended family. He was the second child of the late William Bliss and Jean Belknap Rogers, of Mission Viejo, California. Tim is survived by his mother, siblings Whitney Bischoff (Timothy), Hilary Kern (Kevin), Leslie Ball (Dave), Spencer (Hsiu-Chin) and Preston (Cory) Rogers, and numerous nieces & nephews. Possessing a lightning fast wit, a generous heart, and famous for his sense of humor, service to others, and unique way of looking at the world, Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held for the family at a later date. Please honor his memory with an act of service.
