Toledo L Martin was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on July 26, 1923 and passed away in Montgomery, Texas on May 2nd 2017.

Toledo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and surrogate mother to every kid she came in contact with. She had many jobs - caretaker, beautician, bookkeeper, original sports mom, chief cook, and counselor. She loved to dance, entertain, play 42, and vacation in Galveston.

John and Toledo were members of the United Methodist Church of Montgomery since the early 1950's.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John W. Martin, Sr. Toledo is survived by her children; Toledo P. Boulware, John W. Martin Jr and Rui, Deborah Mueller and Bill, Cindy Martin and Ray Audas; grandchildren, Toledo Boulware Hues, Tylyne Boulware and Freddie "Tiger" Brooks, Tracy Boulware and Chris Fisher, Rui Cain and Steve, Ashley Malina and Kevin, Sr; Austin Mueller and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Toledo, Kevin, Jr., Zell, Tucker and great great grandchild, Aubrey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5th 10:00-10:30AM in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 20850 Eva Street, Montgomery, Texas. Funeral service will begin at 10:30AM. Pallbearers serving the family, Austin Mueller, Steven Cain, Chris Fisher, Freddie Brooks, Steve McClain, Lawrence Keasling, Ray Audas and Gerardo Reyes. Honorary pallbearers, Docky Martin, Mark Heintz, Tommy Jones, Billy Wood and Kevin Malina, Sr.

A luncheon reception will be held following the service in the Grand Hall of Deer Lake Lodge, 10500 Deer Lake Lodge Road, Montgomery, Texas 77316.
