Tommie K. Skobla, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Mother's day May 7, 2016.

Thus being with both sons again on Mother's Day.

Tommie was born in Houston, Texas on April 25, 1953 to Thomas and Rosa Lee Craig; she was the youngest of five girls. Tommie spent most of her career working for Enron, then on to Dril - Quip for the past 19 years. She was a beautiful, loving, spirited, caring and intelligent, meticulous woman. She worked hard all her life and played just as hard on the weekends. Tommie enjoyed travelling, hanging out at the lake or the beach house, taking trips to Arlington Stadium, and also taking the boys to see the Texas Rangers, Cancun, and Fiesta Texas, or wherever the road would take her. She loved to garden, she had exceptional talent with God's green earth. She loved working in the yard, playing on her jet skis, boating, golf cart rides, swimming, hosting friends over for pool parties, and playing cards or the latest LCR games.

Tommie moved to Lake Conroe 4 years ago to her dream home, where she already had a host of friends and was happiest once she made the dream of lake living come true.

Tommie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Rosa Lee Craig, Sister Mary Kula, and her husband Leslie Kula, and her precious son Keith Thomas Skobla.

Tommie passed away in her home surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her precious son Chad Robert Skobla, her daughter in law, Kristeena and the blessing of her life her granddaughter Blakely Nicole Skobla, the father to her boys, ex husband and friend Jim Skobla, her sister Carolyn Sue and husband Jackie Williamsom, Alice and husband JD Mize, Judy and husband Joe LeVeck and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends.

Heaven has gained a heart of gold. Her family and friends are comforted knowing she is now reunited with so many loved ones. Rest peacefully as we hold tightly to your loving memory, until the day we reunite again. The most wasted of all days is one without laughter, Tommie laughed every day. You will be missed my friend.
