Tony C. Davis was born in Willis, Texas, on April 19, 1944 and passed away in Conroe, Texas on January 15, 2015. Tony grew up and spent most of his life in and around Willis. He began working while very young. He helped with his grandfather's cattle and continued through adulthood as a carpenter, mechanic, pipefitter, maintenance technician, and numerous other trades. Tony was the definition of "Jack-of-all-trades". Tony used his vast mechanical knowledge to support his family while helping his friends and others in need.

Throughout his life, Tony enjoyed a good laugh, fishing, an occasional poker game, and the excitement of a Texas Lottery scratch-off. Most of all, he enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He loved the challenge of being given something broken and returning it to working order.

Tony is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 53 years, Carol; his daughter Kathy Spencer and husband Ronnie; son Michael Davis: and daughter Doctor Lisa Renner and husband George. He is also survived by grandchildren DJ Acree, Halee Spencer-Childs, Ryan Spencer, Spring Davis, Kyle Spencer, Kasi Davis, Deven Renner, Zachary Davis, Emilee Spencer, and Lance Renner; and great-grandchildren Caiden, Rylee, Gannon, Melody, and Ellee.

Tony C. Davis has always been a rock for his family to lean on. He was always a valued source of advice and knowledge. We will continue to rely on those attributes though he is no longer with us in a physical sense.

Please join us in remembrance of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 17, from 10:00 AM to Noon at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. A Graveside Service will be held later that same day at 1:00 PM at Willis Cemetery.
