Travis Dean Workman, "Bubby", was gifted by God to Robin Broadway and Jimmy Workman on July 30, 1979. He was called home on June 29, 2012. Travis was a loving son, brother, father and uncle. He leaves behind his two year old son Ryder Dean Workman, his sister Amber Dawn Foxworth, both parents and a host of friends and family. Travis had been battling brain cancer, which he had been diagnosed with at the age of 24. Travis never lost sight of his faith and the hope that God would deliver him from this disease. Beside his bed he kept a scripture that he held near and dear to his heart titled simply HOPE: Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. The Lord did deliver Travis from this disease and watched over him as he had to suffer through it on this earth. It might not been in the manner his friends and family had wished for however, we can all rejoice in the fact that we will one day see Bubby again and have him walk with us through our fathers kingdom. You are loved by so many and will be greatly missed Travis. Go with God. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Travis' life on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 5:00pm at Gateway Community Church, 760 Clear Lake City Blvd. Webster, Texas 77598.
