Trisha Marie Shaw Haydon, 61, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on November 3, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her family and firm belief in God supported her in this journey and ultimately gave her peace.

Born July 20, 1956 to Homer and Dorothy Shaw, Trisha grew up in Conroe, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University. After 35 years, she retired from Chevron where she worked as the Administrative Assistant for the Human Resources department and later the Information Technology department.

Trisha was a member of First Baptist Church Conroe, and attended Houston's First Baptist Church — where she joyfully shared her voice and love of music serving in the choir. She enjoyed arts and crafts projects, reading, and researching family genealogy. She also loved to travel and explore new places.

Trisha is survived by her daughter Jennifer Haydon of Houston, Texas, brother Todd Shaw and Tracy of Georgetown, Texas, and nephew Parker Shaw of Georgetown, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Dorothy Shaw.

The Celebration of Life Service will be in the Cashner's Chapel on Thursday, November 9 th . Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30p-3p; services will be in the chapel beginning at 3p with burial in Garden Park Cemetery immediately following.
