Viola Dreeher (Monroe) Dodd passed away peacefully Sunday evening March 24, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Viola was born Mothers day May 11, 1934 in Laurinburg, Scotland County, NC.

She is predeceased by her mother Phoebe (Smith), father Richard Ferguson Monroe, brother Donald Ray Monroe, husband Wallace Edmund Dodd Sr., stepdaughter Marcine DeLane (Dodd) King and stepson (Butch) Ernest Stewart. She is survived by her three sons, Warren Edward Parker, Richard David Parker, and Ronald Mack Parker and a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Parker; Stepchildren, Marilyn (Dodd) Davlin and Wallace Edmund Dodd Jr.; Grandchildren, Dustin Davlin, Brandon Davlin, Kristine (Falcon),Tristin Dodd, Rachel Ann Stewart and Roxana Stewart. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, March 28, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 7:30pm. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon, March 29, 2013 at 12:30pm in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with internment at Conroe Memorial Park on FM1314.
