Virginia was born on January 21, 1939 in Odessa, Texas to Roland and Louise Maggie (Jones) Allbright. She passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017 at her home in Conroe with family by her side. She was 78 years of age.

Virginia spent many early years as a licensed beautician running and owning her beauty shop in New Caney, TX. Being quite the entrepreneur that she was: Virginia opened up an upholstery store, "LaFont Upholstery and Drapes" in Conroe. She ran this business successfully and with much talent for many years before being recruited by CISD to teach an Upholstery shop class. Virginia spent 10 years teaching at Conroe High before retiring. She and her beloved husband, Kenneth spent 11 years building their dream home together with their own hands. Virginia was an accomplished artist and loved creating portraits, many of them hang in their home today. Her sweet smile and loving disposition will be greatly missed. Virginia was dearly loved by many.

She is survived by her loving family; husband, Kenneth Conatser; sons, Richard Gene LaFont and wife, Tonia, Rodney Earl LaFont and Michael Byron LaFont; brother, Cecil Allbright and wife, Jan; numerous dear grandchildren and great grandchildren; and special friend, Mary Seibert. Virginia is also survived by other dear family members as well as, a host of loving and caring friends at Springs of Living Water Church.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to TriCare Hospice for all of their care and support.
