Vivian joined her husband Jack, son Mark and her granddaughter Jessica in Heaven on September 3, 2017. She was born to H.T. and Mildred Calley in Cherokee, Texas on May 25, 1937. Vivian loved being a mother to her three children and was often a volunteer at their elementary school L.F. Smith. She arrived in Pasadena, Texas during WWII and attended Pasadena schools, graduating from Pasadena High School in 1955. Rather than studying for a mail order secretarial course, Vivian, always the free spirit, joined the U.S. Air Force briefly in 1956 and served in San Antonio, Texas. Vivian had conquered breast cancer, but succumbed to an injury sustained during Hurricane Harvey. She is survived by her daughters Sylvia Fitzgerald, Annette Palamidy (John) and her granddaughters Elissa Mazza, Kristina Baldridge and Natalie Stubbs.

Family and friends will gather at Niday-Fairmont Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Old Waverly Cemetery in Old Waverly, Texas on Friday, September 8, at 1:00pm.
