Vivian Sulane Bell Mackey was born in Opelika, Alabama on January 25, 1945 and passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 69. She retired from AT&T as a Regional Manager after 33 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Waverly where she worked diligently as the Director of the Food Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Helen Brinkley Bell and her brother Tony Bell. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Bob Mackey of Conroe, Texas; daughter Karen Byrd and husband John of Magnolia, Texas; sons Bobby Lee Mackey and wife Kim of Chicago, Illinois and Ken Mace and wife Tina of Conroe, Texas; sister Faye Freeman and husband Joe; brothers Billy Bell and wife Nancy and Gerald Bell and wife Patsy all of Opelika, Alabama; grandchildren: Misty Dozier and husband Randy, Nikki Mace, Mandy Mackey, Alayna Mackey, Crystal Schlageter and Rhonda Horton; great grandchildren: Tyler Dozier, Trey Blankenburg, Gracie Blankenburg and Ryan Dozier, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10am with Bro. J.D. Andrews as minister. Entombment will follow in the Garden Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers for the service will be: John Byrd, Randy Dozier, Ken Mace, Tyler Dozier, Phillip Cash and Bobby Mackey.
