Wanda Sue Burrow was born on January 13, 1948 in Linden, Cass County, Texas and passed away on June 8, 2016 in Conroe, Texas.

Sue was a business owner in the Tomball/Magnolia area for many years. She was a licensed cosmetologist and beauty shop owner.

Sue was born in Linden, Texas, in the community of Zion Hill in the home of her grandparents. From the moment of birth in this small and isolated community, Sue was a proud and independent woman who worked her entire life in the service of others.

Sue was born as the daughter of Will S. Burrow (deceased), and Alma Viola Cromer Burrow of Conroe. Siblings are Will Tom Burrow of Conroe, Philip E. Burrow of Katy, Debra Kay Burrow of Pinehurst, and Linda Jean Burrow Evans (deceased). She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

After retirement, Sue settled in Conroe to be near her friends and family. She spent her final years with her friend and companion, Donnell Carrington.

Sue loved her pets, gardening, fishing, and cooking for friends and family. She also loved traveling to Louisiana on occasion to play the slots. She loved it even more when she came home a winner.

Sue will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have shared a portion of their life with her. Loud and vocal, may her voice always blow thru the pine trees of East Texas.
