Wilbert L. Trader "Bill" peacefully passed away at his home on August 7th. He was 78.

Bill was born on August 21, 1938 in Houston, graduated Jeff Davis high school in 1956 and served six years in the U.S. Navy. He had a long and distinguished career in the energy industry which included several international assignments while working for Cameron, Rockwell, Vetco, and retiring from, Stewart & Stevenson.

Bill loved golf, fast cars and international travel. Most of all he loved the time spent boating on Lake Conroe with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey, Kyle, Melissa and their mother, Sandra; grandchildren, Tiffany, Matthew, Christopher, Josh, Nicole and Peyton; great-grandchildren, Devon, Kaleb, Jordan and Braelyn; daughters-in-laws, Maren, Tracey, Kelly and Nancy; step-children, Martin, Shannon, and Kelly; companion, Carmen Pellettieri.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harmon Trader and wife Lula; mother, Bridget Hale; sisters, Leona and Naomi; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Sharon Trader; granddaughter, Kaylyn Trader.

A memorial service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX on Saturday, August 12, 2017 beginning at 1:30pm. Interment will be made at The Houston National Cemetery in Houston at a later date.

The Trader family wishes to express their gratitude to the Veteran Administration Hospital for their compassionate care for Bill Trader.
