Wilbur W. Eaton (Bill) was born in Phillips, Wisconsin, on March 15, 1922 and passed away in Conroe, Texas on October 5, 2012. Bill was a self-educated man who, with the unending support and encouragement of his wife, progressed from being a flight instructor for the Army Air Corps during World War II, to being an airplane mechanic and ultimately achieving the position of captain on a 747 for Continental Airlines. Bill dedicated himself to the well being and education of his family. He is survived by Geneva, his wife of 71 years; his daughter, Alta Goodnight of Conroe, Texas; his son, Wilbur W. Eaton, Jr. of Oceanside, California; his granddaughter and her husband, Dean and Bill Maxson of Flower Mound, Texas; his grandson, Clinton Goodnight of Conroe, Texas; and his great-grandchildren, Mackenzi and Brodric Maxson of Flower Mound, Texas. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 10:00am in the Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas with Pastor Chris Lake as officiant. Visit our website at www.cashnerconroe.com
