William (Bill) George Beucler II, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 5, 2014.

Bill was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 27, 1950 to his parents, Dr. William John Beucler and Marilyn Brown Beucler. Named after his grandfather, William George Beucler, all preceded him in death.

Bill worked for the Texas Department of Corrections where he was employed as a Correctional Officer in Huntsville for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and was an expert at firearms.

Bill married Pam Surnson in 2001 and they enjoyed 13 years together treasuring the time spent with each other and their family. Bill took great pride in his sons, William (Billy) and Brian, daughter-in-law Tlisha and his beloved granddaughter, Brooke.

Bill's life centered on his faith and he gained strength from his fellowship at his church, The Ark in Conroe. He lived out his faith by his willingness to help anyone in need and visiting others in hospitals to offer comforting words of salvation, hope and encouragement. No matter his circumstances, Bill would say he was, "Blessed and highly favored." Most often, his frequent response of, "Just Peachy" became his standard reply and would always bring a hint of a smile to those he loved. This Godly man of steadfast courage will live on in the hearts of all who love him.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Pam; loving sons and daughter-in-law, William John Beucler II and Brian Michael Beucler and wife, Tlisha. Also surviving are siblings, Bonnie Beucler; Beverly Dobi and husband, Bill; Robert Beucler and wife, Lori; Betsy Robinson and husband, Dave; granddaughter, Brooke Beucler and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor the life of Bill Beucler will be held Friday, September 12 at 11:00 am at The Ark Church, 450 Humble Tank Road, Conroe, Texas 77304 with Pastor Alan Clayton officiating assisted by Pastor John Fernandez.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Odyssey Hospice in Conroe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ark Church or the .
