William Clayton Puckett Jr. was born November 9, 1931 in Trinity, Texas and passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 83. He was a graduate of Conroe High School in 1951 where he was Vice President of his class. He was a Master Plumber and owner of Puckett Plumbing. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1953. He was a long time member of the Conroe Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon and had a great passion for the Food Pantry and the 39ers Ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Clayton Puckett Sr. and Minnie Etta French Puckett; his previous wife, Louise Imogene Puckett; three sisters, Edna Lou Puckett, Joy Owens and Susie Williamson; and brother, Henry Puckett. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Norma Tompkins Puckett; daughter, Sandra Lynn Casey and husband Pat; son Michael David Puckett; step children, Charlotte Alford and husband Sam, Tricia Thompson and Tommy Tompkins; sisters, Linda Spiller, Jean Dubose, Sally Anderson and Stella Vickery; brothers, Paul "Dugan" Puckett and John Puckett; grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Amanda Kay Davault, Jessica Casey, Beth Blasius and Adrienne Casey; great grandchildren, Cassity Smith, Dani Steber, Nicholas Day, Chloe Davault, Zack Masch, Skyler Masch, Baylie Fiore, Carleigh Blasius; and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, June16, 2015 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Conroe Church of Christ with Steve Yates and Sam Alford officiating. Burial will follow in the Conroe Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, Paul "Dugan" Puckett, Nicholas Day, Josh Davault, Pat Casey, Paul Blasius, Zack Masch, and Larry D. Owens.
