William (Doug) Younts Jr., 70, of Canton, Tx. passed away May 22, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. He passed away with his wife, Helen Younts, of forty-seven years and his family by his side. A grave-side service will be held at the Mostyn/Damuth Cemetery in Magnolia, Tx, 11:00 a.m., Friday May 25, 2012. Paul Bearers will be Fred Banning, Billy Alred, Charles Riley, Larry Leach, George Cirfranic and Paul DeFoor. William was born October 8, 1941 in Houston, Tx. Every morning William was up at 5:00a.m. He spent 35 years as a valued employee for the Texas Department of Public Transportation. He was a deacon at Grace Baptist Church in Conroe, TX. The past eleven years he has lived in Canton, TX with his wife, Helen. They have been active and devoted members of Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton. William is survived by his wife, Helen Younts, step-mother, Sarah Younts sister, Jeanette Robins and much loved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill & Janet Damuth, Darlene & Phillip Taylor and Herschel & Barbara Damuth. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who played an important part in his life. William is preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, William Younts, Sr. and Norma Jean Reddock as well as his much loved father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan & Juanita Damuth. William (Doug) Younts was loved and will be missed by his family and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Fund of Lakeside Baptist Church P.O.
