William (Bill) Swan of Conroe passed away peacefully on December 22nd, at the age of 91. He was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.

Bill was active in church throughout his life as chairman of the board for the First Christian Church in Oakland, California, board member, elder and Sunday school teacher. He served in the Navy during World War II. He enjoyed golf and good friends across the country. His work in the transportation industry moved him from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Albany, New York, Tampa, Florida, Oakland, California and Conroe, Texas.

Survivors are wife Rosemary, daughter Susan Swan King, son-in-law Robert King, daughter Jeannine Swan and grandson David King.

Memorial service will be Saturday January 4th, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel at First United Methodist Church, 4308 W. Davis St., Conroe, Texas 77304.
