Nothing can help face the unknown future with more courage and optimism than remembering all those glory moments, and Stathi had many of those throughout his short life. I'm glad I was given the chance to meet you and see you ride over that line time after time. Rest in Peace and thoughts to your family and loved ones. You were one in a million!

My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. A tragic loss to the racing world.Stathi will remembered in my heart as a great jockey who very often made me smile when he a rode a winner that i had my money on across the line.

As a fellow jockey, who had the greatest respect for Stathi, I would like to pass on my condolances to the family. I will remember him as a gentleman who did the industry very proud.

As an ordinary punter who never had the pleasure of meeting Stathi, I feel so sad for his loss. It was a pleasure to watch him ride. My deepest sympathy to his family.
