John C. MacDonald, 57, resident of Delanco, NJ, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 due to natural causes. Born October 8, 1956 at Fort Riley, KS, and was the youngest Son of Philip J.A. and Barbara C MacDonald. John graduated from Willingboro High School, in the Class of 1976, and he subsequently served 3 years in the U.S. Army from 1976-1979 where he completed Airborne training. He was a long time member of the IBEW, Local #351, of Hammonton, NJ, and most recently worked on the Revel construction. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary K. MacDonald and daughter Katherine, sister Barbara E. Li Vecchi, brother Philip J MacDonald, mother Barbara C. MacDonald, nephew Philip J. MacDonald III, Scott MacDonald, Gerald James MacDonald, Brian MacDonald, Joseph Li Vecchi, Nicholas Li Vecchi and niece Colleen Patterson. John was predeceased by his father, Philip J.A. MacDonald, and his brother, Fred A. MacDonald.

John was an avid sports fan holding his Flyers, Sixers, Eagels, and Phillies in great esteem attending games whenever possible. He was a devoted family man and the best husband and father ever. John also took great joy in his garden and his faithful dogs, Abby and Chloe. He will be sorely missed by all.

The viewing will be held at the Weber Funeral Home 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ on Fri, March 28, from 6PM to 8PM and on Sat March 29, form 9:30AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral prayer services will be held on Sat March 29, at 10:30am with burial at the Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
