Collingswood - Suddenly and tragically on January 2, 2021, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 24 years. Loving father of Avalyn. Beloved son of John and Sherri Giancola (nee Miller). Dear brother of Eric (Samantha), John (Ashley) and Tony (Paige). Devoted uncle to Chase, Maddie, Michael, Juniper and Valentina. He is also survived by Avalyn's mother, Brittany Dunn, his girlfriend, Shaina Fay as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the Avalyn E. Giancola Trust c/o 19 Washington Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108. To share memories and condolences please visit www.fosterwarnefuneralhome.com.

Mikey was a best friend to my stepson Zane Chunko. We always enjoyed having him for sleepovers in middle school. It was good to see they had each other to get through those awkward years. We are saying prayers for his family, and especially his young daughter. God bless.

So sorry for the entire family for the loss of Mikey. Truly, we may not have been close, but I remember him all the way back to preschool. Kind, funny, and always upbeat. Last I saw him was a few years ago at Wawa. We only chat for a couple of minutes but he mostly just gushed about his sweet daughter; how wonderful she was, and how much he loved her. I’m so happy that he had her, and pray that she is comforted in knowing how much her daddy loved her.
