Norman Stuessy Obituary
Haddonfield, NJ - On Monday Dec. 9, 2019 Norman E., Thursday Dec. 12, 2019 Ruth P. Stuessy (nee Pennypacker) of Haddonfield, NJ (formerly of Moorestown, NJ). Loving parents to William (Ellen), Robert (Nid), Theodore, Helen Spencer (Slade) and the late Kevin. Proud grandparents of nine grandchildren, Rebecca Mezzancello (Jonathan), Alexander Stuessy (Kelly), Elizabeth Stuessy, Meghan Stuessy, Timothy Stuessy (Gabriella), Kateland Stuessy, Kelly Stuessy, Samantha Spencer and Andrew Spencer and two great grandchildren Lillian Stuessy and Luca Mezzancello. Norman is also survived by his sister Barbara Hartman of Dundee, FL.
Norman and Ruth both graduated from Haddonfield Memorial HS and were high school sweethearts. Norman graduated from Wesleyan University in 1954 before working for Union Carbide Corporation. He was an accomplished photographer, writer and woodworker. Ruth graduated from Franklin School of Science and Arts, and had many interests and talents including needlework, reading and swimming. They both enjoyed attending live theatre and cinema.
Service will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions in their memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053 or to the Food Bank of South Jersey 1501 John Tipton Blvd. Pennsauken, NJ 08110.

They were a great couple. Ruth was smart and feisty, and she and Buddy were two of my favorite cousins.I remember that in her freshman year, every single grade on her report card was an A.......except for one single B.....in Gym class. Boy was she ticked!!!!
