AGE: 62 • Clementon, Form. of Gloucester City and Westville

Suddenly, on September 15, 2013. Age 62. Of Clementon. Formerly of Gloucester City and Westville.

Loving and devoted husband of 43 years to Charlet B. Overs (nee Boody). Loving father of Kirk Overs and Charlet Smith (Boyd). Cherished grandfather of Jake Smith and Benjamin Lane. Dear brother of Nancy Scallatino (John), Susan Bennett (Mark), Mark Overs (Mary) and the late David Barker (surviving Evelyn). Dear brother in law of Joseph Boody, Gary Boody (Joann) and Pamela Cogill (Russell). Also survived by his many friends he met over the last 28 years.

Bruce was part of the first graduating class of Gateway High School in 1969. He was employed for the last 13 years as a salesman for Diamond Tool in Grays Ferry. Bruce was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and riding his Harley Davidson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service Saturday 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment private. Family requests memorial donations to be made to Gift of Life Donor Program: 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
