Elizabeth A. "Betty" MacNamara

Collingswood - (nee Parker) On August 4, 2018, of Collingswood, NJ, loving wife, mother and "Grammy" went on to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 73.

Betty is lovingly survived by her husband of 52 years, John "Jack" MacNamara; daughters, Julie Ross of Collingswood and Jennifer (James) Bailey of Howell, NJ; grandchildren, Grace, Reagan, Caitlyn and Frankie; brothers, Steve (Pat) Parker, Edgar (Louise) Parker and Jack Parker and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Grace and Clayton Parker; father and mother-in-law, John and Thelma MacNamara and sister-in-law, Mary Parker.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Collingswood and an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood. Retired from the Collingswood school system after 25 years, she loved being around the students and serving as "second Mom" to many. Betty was a former member of the Collingswood Junior Women's club, where she developed lifelong friendships. Betty also volunteered for many years as a committee member for the Collingswood High School Hall of Fame.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, August 18, 10 to 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 201 Dayton Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
