My condolences to Eleanor and the entire Kain family. I am so sorry for your loss. Jack was a wonderful friend to my family even before we moved to Brown Street in 1968, and he was the best neighbor. He was always there, and he was kind and helpful. My parents loved him. We had many good times at the large barbecues at Gartlands' house on Chambers Ave. I hope he is at peace, and I hope happy memories comfort all of you.

My condolances to the Kain family.. While he was a little older, I grew up with Jack and shared the memories of those years. He never called me by my first name, I was always Satch or Satchel. It wasnt uncommon for those days since nearly everyone in Gloucester had a nick name. Jack was blessed with a friendly and witty personallity, and a pleadure to be around. May be rest in peace.

I got to know Jack when he and Eleanor lived next door to me when I was a young teenager. I used to babysit Jackie and Lillian. He was a great guy and was admired by all. Glad he is no longer suffering. May he rest in peace. My condolences to Eleanor and the kids.
