Marlton - Joseph "Joe" McNiff, 67, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Virtua-Voorhees Hospital surrounded by his children after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure. He was the beloved father of Darcy (Michael) Aitcheson and Joseph (Kelly) McNiff, both of Cherry Hill, NJ. Adored by his three grandchildren: Madison and Michael McNiff and Elias Aitcheson, he was fondly recognized as "Pops."

Joe was first married to Eileen Heinrich McNiff and subsequently Dr. Susan Schaming. Born September 14, 1950, to the late Rita Rose and John McNiff in the Bronx, NY, he was the eldest of four children. His two surviving sisters are Margaret (Michael) McCartney and Joan McNiff. He was predeceased by his younger sister, Anne McNiff Burgess. Joe will also be missed by his godchildren, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

An avid golfer, he enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach, cruising, and watching his grandchildren excel at their sporting events. His accomplished sales career began at Dow Chemical, followed by his long-term position as the National Sales Manager for Valspar Paint Corporation, and culminated with regional responsibilities for various paint and resin companies before he retired in 2012. A long-standing member of the Philadelphia Paints and Coatings Society, he served as president in 2001-2002. In addition to his professional success, Joe was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and engaged in service for the organization.

A time of gathering is scheduled for Friday, July 13, 2018, at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial follows at 11:30 AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the or the are welcomed in Joe's memory.
