I met Stan 30 years ago when I joined his practice. I was welcomed by him with warm arms. I learned so much from him(having just finished my residency there were many things I needed to learn about outpatient pediatrics). We had a wonderful professional relationship but also over time had a wonderful friendship. Being about the same age as Andrea he sometimes blurred the line between the two but I did not mind because it made me feel so welcome and let me know that all of us in the practice were like a second family to him. I will miss him.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Dr Karp. Dr Karp has always had a special place in our hearts. Over 40 years ago his very quick diagnosis of our 3 year old daughter sent her to Chop Immediately where she survived a rare illness that most drs were not familiar with and she is still with us today. His concern and compassion for her continued as the years went by. We will be forever grateful and will always remember him. The Robinson family.

My husband and I met Dr. Karp January 1984 when we had our twin sons. He was such a caring doctor. As a first time parent he always made us feel confident. He also was our doctor for our next two sons.
It was a privilege to know him.

Heart goes out to Joan and all of the family. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Karp for 10 years at Cinnaminson Pediatrics; during which I witnessed his knowledge, strength, compassion and humor. We were all made to feel an important part of a team; he is missed.

What a blessing Dr. Karp was to our family. He not only cared for our five children, he gave my husband and I the confidence young parents need to raise children successfully. When one of our daughters faced a possible chronic disabling disease, he took my shaking hand, looked me in the eye and said, "You can do this." He was truly a kind, caring man as well as a dedicated physician.
