William Talarico Jr.

Florence - William "Bill" Talarico Jr. of Florence passed away peacefully on Friday July 6,2018 at Brookdale Florence with loving family and care givers by his side. He was 96.

Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Audubon, NJ and was a lifelong resident of South Jersey.

Bill was a WW II Navy Veteran who retired as a Captain after serving 33 years in the Naval Reserves. He worked as a salesman for Rae Crowther Co. selling football equipment. Bill was proud to be a "Munger Man" while playing and coaching at the University of Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. In his free time, he could be found flying up and down the east coast as he earned his private pilots license after serving in the Navy.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years Alma (Katz) Talarico and a brother Julius B. Talarico. Bill is survived by his children: Tina Brick (Charles), Julie Didinger (Charles) and William C. Talarico (Carol). He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren plus one on the way as well as extended family and friends.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Monday July 30, 2018 at Beverly National Cemetery, 916 Bridgeboro Road, Beverly. Arrangements by Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
